Linda Gallaher’s Bio:
I’m a lifelong Seattleite, with a few years in Sun Valley, Idaho as a ski bum during my wild youthful years. I worked in sales and merchandising at Brittania Sportswear for 10 years before becoming a hairstylist. While working as a stylist in Seattle for the past 20+ years, I married Tom Watson, an environmental public educator with King County. We have a grown daughter named Genevieve, or Genna for short. I also returned to college (originally an art major) to earn a biogenetics degree from the University of Washington. At the time, I considered changing my profession to genetic counseling but I couldn’t give up the things I love about my job. My clients become my friends, visit me regularly, and leave looking and feeling noticeably better.
That’s pretty hard to beat.
Hair philosophy:
My style is collaborative. All haircut and color choices are discussed with you so there are no surprises. I have a systematic approach to hair. I keep notes and take pictures of your hair to remind us of what worked and what didn’t. Because hair is a changing landscape, I encourage a conscious approach to problem solving as your hair or color grows out. Try new things, have fun with it. Sometimes a complimentary bang or neck trim can make all the difference after a few weeks. That being said, I agree with the words of a very wise man, Tim Walsh: “Beauty comes from within…..if you are a beautiful person, it will be seen regardless of your hair” Inner beauty is your domain, for great hair come see me.
